It's My Laundry And I'll Fold What I Want To

For the time being I am suspending all sock sorting and folding activity. Socks, I am leaving you in this basket from whence I will fetch you on an as-needed basis. Take that, laundry. Yeah yeah, shirts and pants, don't get your panties all in a bunch. I am still gonna fold you (and you too panties, for that matter). Shirts, I even ironed one of you last week. So get off my back. Socks, just deal with it. Think of your time in this basket as a party and mingle.

LOL! Love this! I currently have 3 (THREE!!!) baskets of clothes sitting in my bedroom. As me, my husband, or my son need anything we go to the baskets, fish it out, and leave the rest...to mingle.

Pitiful, but whatcha gonna do;)

My laundry room currently looks even worse than that picture I posted a while back (hard to believe that's even possible). There are probably at least 8 loads of clothes waiting to be folded. Every day the hubs and the kids ask, "do I have any socks?" Me? If I can't find socks, I go the barefoot in Uggs route. Sorry family, you're on your own. Enter the laundry room at your own risk b/c a clothes avalanche is likely to occur at any moment...

I am taking the miss-matched socks fad to the next level and will now deliberately grab the first two socks and slap them on my kids' feet. They don't care, why should I?

I have 2 full baskets to fold, a load in the dryer, and a load in the washer. Boo-yah.

Ugh. Laundry is the most dreaded task ever. I thought it would get better when I got a washer/dryer in my apt. unit. It didn't. Go figure!

laundry can bite my ass. I let B handle it. Best wife ever.

Socks are thankless and ungrateful! I applaud your punishment!

Good for you. You are a laundry genius I say. Unfortunately, my laundry genius has gone a little too far. So far really that I regularly have 20+ loads of clean but crumpled clothes littering our back bedroom which is virtually unusable because of this. Housekeeper award of the year? Not for me.

I am glad to see I am in good company in the losing battle of the laundry.

I have the baby's clothes folded but sitting on the twin bed in her room, hubby threw his on the bedroom floor in front of his dresser because he didn't feel like taking my hint (putting his clothes on the bed) to fold and put them away before going to sleep, and mine are neatly folded in a laundry basket. I feel ya, girl!

PS: Go see my blog! I've left something for you there!
